Never-before-seen character designs from Disney XD’s newest Star Wars animated series, ‘Star Wars Resistance’, was revealed at a recent Disney France Partners Event. The image came from a Star Wars collectors account (@yak_face), revealing the main characters and some side characters who will appear in the show.
A second tweet from the event (which has already been deleted) also revealed the release date for the series, which is currently set at sometime in October. The series was first announced earlier this year as an anime-inspired take on the Star Wars universe, documenting the events that occurred before The Force Awakens. The plot is confirmed to follow a young pilot named Kazuda Xiono, who was recruited by the Resistance to spy on the First Order.
