Calling all cosplay competitors – Clara Cow’s Cosplay Cup (C4) is back! For the second year in a row, AMG-Chan has collaborated with Anime Con to select a representative to participate in C4 at the Netherlands! The competition will be held on Day 2 of AMG-Chan at South City Plaza, Sri Kembangan and registration is OPEN NOW!

If you’re not familiar with C4, it is an international cosplay event that prides itself on its “relaxing” aspects. It is held at Anime Con yearly, comprising of participants from Belgium, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, Netherland, Spain, USA, Switzerland, UK, Portugal, and Romania. The grand prize at Anime Con is a trip to Japan!
But before you can get to Japan, you first have to get to the Netherlands. The qualifiers competition format is a two-person skit-based performance, based on any officially released (no fan creations!) animation, comic, or game series. The competition will be judged by veteran cosplayers, Team Manboobs (Sky and Yuan), Yugana Senshi Uon, as well as last year’s winners – Dovah and Shinku!
Not convinced yet? We managed to get a few words from Dovah and Shinku themselves on their experience at C4 2017 and what they took away from their time in the Netherlands.
Shinku: “This is a journey I would treasure for my life, despite the hardships we went through together as a team. No matter how tough the situation is, the fact that we are given the honour to represent a country on a global competition just gave us the motivation to pull it through.”
Dovah: “C4 was an invaluable experience and I got to broaden my horizons, meet so many amazing people and grow as a stronger cosplayer 🙂 I wouldn’t give it up for anything else!”
