Judatone Studios To Publish Malaysian-Made Chaotic Co-Op Game ‘FiresOut!’

Independent videogame publisher Judatone Studios is set to publish Dreamonaut Studio’s FiresOut!, a chaotic co-op firefighting game where players overcome emergency situations and rescue victims with the help of their toilet goldfish.

Up to 4 players band together as animal firefighting interns on their first day at work (who definitely did not sign up for this gig). Danger is around every corner as you must work together to solve puzzles, save civilians, and of course fight fires.

FiresOut! is the brainchild of Malaysian indie developer Dreamonaut Studio, a team of seven college students who originally came together to develop FiresOut! as a student project. Post-graduation, the project was fleshed out into a full game, which was a Best Student Game Award winner and Audience Choice Award nominee at Level Up KL’s SEA Game Awards 2025.

Gameplay Features

  • Fight fires solo or up to 4 players as goofy firefighting interns. Supports both local couch or online co-op chaos.
  • Toilet goldfish as your fire extinguisher (his name’s Mr Glug Glug).
  • Carry victims or yeet them to safety. They’re covered by insurance, anyway.
  • Drive your fire truck between 5 wacky worlds.
  • Environmental hazards like meteorites and exploding fireballs.

FiresOut! has a demo currently available and expects to release in 2027. You can read our interview with developers Dreamonaut Studio here.
