Blizzard Announces An Update To Anran’s Look, Coming In Season 2

Anran, the fiery flank hero who debuted in Season 1 of the Overwatch rebrand earlier this year, has certainly proven to not only bring the heat in game, but also outside of it. Ever since her debut, Blizzard has received backlash due to her model, with fans claiming that Anran was yet another victim of ‘same-face syndrome’, which suggests that most of the game’s female cast share the exact facial features or structure.

If the fans weren’t enough to convince you, Anran’s voice actress Fareeha Andersen also voiced her frustrations via her X account. In response, Blizzard then announced in February that they heard the complaints and will make changes to Anran’s model to make her “look and feel more like the fierce older sister she was always meant to be”.

And just yesterday, we got the official announcement of those changes as well as when they’ll drop! Below are the changes:
