Night Shippers, the newest title from Vietnamese developer Young Buffalo Studio, is out now on Steam. Inspired by the high-stakes energy of REPO and Lethal Company, Night Shippers challenges 1-8 players to deliver orders and meet a crushing nightly quota before supernatural entities turn against them.
The game puts players in the role of food delivery drivers working the night shift in hell, taking orders, dodging ghosts, and navigating haunted Vietnamese streets. Players must finish your deliveries before sunrise, or be trapped in the underworld forever. Modifiers that offer blessings or curses also help ensure no two shifts are the same.
“We wanted to capture the chaotic energy of Vietnamese traffic and delivery culture, but flip it into a horror setting,” said Linh, Director at Young Buffalo Studio. “While we love the extraction horror genre, Night Shippers brings a distinct Southeast Asian flavor. It’s about the struggle of the job, the humor of bad teamwork, and the terror of what’s waiting in the dark alleys.”
The game is currently available at a special launch price of $4.99. Check out Night Shippers on Steam, and follow the developers on X/Twitter.
