GPTRACK50 Inc., a studio formed by veteran action-game developers who previously worked on Devil May Cry, DRAGON’S DOGMA, and Resident Evil, have announced new information for their brand-new action RPG title Stupid Never Dies, scheduled for release in 2026.

Following an initial title reveal at The Game Awards 2025 last December, the studio has now unveiled the game’s first trailer showcasing actual gameplay. The trailer premiered during the Future Game Show: Spring Showcase 2026, which was broadcast on March 12 (GMT).

Stupid Never Dies is a 3D action-RPG supported by charming characters and a highly distinctive art style. Set in a monster-ruled otherworldly dungeon, the game puts you in control of Davy, a timid zombie living at the very bottom of monster society. Defeat enemies, level up, and collect strange items to grow stronger on your quest to bring Julia, a frozen human girl, back to life.

Players will engage in battles by strategically combining Davy’s unique set of abilities, using an attack-focused combat system the team refers to as “Funky Zombie Action.” Steal enemy abilities, customize your undead body with bizarre upgrades, and experience fast-paced combat packed with innovation.

Aspiring zombies can now wishlist Stupid Never Dies on Steam, and follow the game’s official X account for more updates.
