Universal Music LLC and its Japanese-music-focused label Virgin Music have announced a partnership with Anycolor Inc. to train and produce music for BY THE BEAT,a four-member VTuber unit from NIJISANJI EN, the English-speaking branch of Anycolor Inc.
The announcement was accompanied by the release of their latest original song, Double Vision, available now on all major streaming platforms. It was also announced that BY THE BEAT will make their major label debut in 2027, with training and production efforts currently underway.
The production team for Double Vision features Lauren Kaori, who writes songs primarily for J-POP and K-POP acts such as INI and &TEAM; MONJOE, the vocalist and synthesizer player for DATS who has recently been producing and writing songs for artists like BE:FIRST and Number_i, as well as composing music for commercials; and R&B artist, singer-songwriter LOAR, who has provided songs for artists such as Kento Nakajima and BE:FIRST.
BY THE BEAT are also currently featured in a collaboration between Karaoke Manekineko Malaysia and NIJISANJI EN. You can read more about it here.
