After three years of being off the air, Laid-Back Camp will officially return for a fourth season this 2027. A new teaser visual and promotional video were released in conjunction with the release date announcement.
Laid-Back Camp Season 3 director Shin Tosaka returns to direct for Season 4, alongside series compositor Pierre Sugiura, composer Akiyuki Tateyama, and new character designer Ryuta Ura. Animation for the new season will be provided by FURYU Pictures, marking their first foray into television anime.
Much of the anime’s original cast will return to reprise their roles, including:

- Yumiri Hanamori as Nadeshiko Kagamihara
- Sayuri Hara as Chiaki Ogaki
- Aki Toyosaki as Aoi Inuyama
- Rie Takahashi as Ena Saito
- Tomoyo Kurosawa as Ayano Toki
- Maria Sashide as Ema Mizunami
- Kokoa Amano as Mei Nakatsugawa
- Akio Otsuka as the Narrator
Based on a manga series by Japanese artist Afro, Laid-Back Camp follows high school students Rin Shima, Nadeshiko Kagamihara, and their friends as they travel to various campsites across Japan. The series was first adapted to the screen in 2018, and has been credited with sparking renewed interest in camping amongst Japanese youth.
