Anime Garden 2026 returns to Gardens by the Bay this 21 and 22 March 2026, happening at the iconic Supertree Grove and Flower Dome. The free weekend festival celebrates Japanese music, cosplay and pop culture, bringing together regional artistes, celebrity cosplayers and fans for two days of performances, activities and community gatherings.
From late afternoon until sunset, the Day Stage at Supertree Grove will feature a diverse line-up of Japanese artistes and Singapore’s homegrown performers, including SAKURA DOLL, SEIREI SHIMEI JOSHI (SSJ), VII SEPTEM, Shun Nakanishi, Sugar Note and more.
The performances build momentum through the afternoon and lead into the evening Anime Concert Nights. As evening falls, the Supertree Grove transforms into an open-air concert venue for two nights of anisong performances by renowned Japanese artists, including Eir Aoi, KIHOW from MYTH & ROID, yanaginagi, and ZAQ!
Anime Garden will also host two of the region’s popular cosplayers, Munoko沐子 and Thames Malerose. Fans can participate in meet-and-greet sessions, purchase exclusive merchandise, and see them serve as judges for the Cosplay Singles Competition. Complementing the festival line-up are the Creators Hub and Cosplay Hub, where fans can discover original artwork and merchandise from regional creators.
Finally, visitors of all ages can also enjoy free Japanese matsuri-style games such as shateki (target shooting) and wanage (ring toss), as well as a fan gathering for the popular game Umamusume: Pretty Derby. A selection of food trucks will be available throughout the festival, offering a variety of street food and refreshments.
