Nomada Studio and Devolver Digital have announced Neva: Prologue, a paid DLC expansion to 2024’s Neva that reveals more of the characters’ backstories. The news was announced during the recent PlayStation State of Play, with the DLC set to launch on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch on February 19.
Designed to be experienced after completing the main game, Neva: Prologue offers a deeper challenge and rich narrative for returning players. The DLC introduces three new locations, each featuring unique gameplay mechanics, alongside new enemies and intense boss encounters. Completionists will also discover five hidden challenge flowers to test their mastery.
Neva is the second game from Spanish developer Nomada Games, best known for their emotionally moving debut title Gris. The game has recieved much critical acclaim over the years, winning Games for Impact at the 2024 Game Awards; Outstanding Achievement for Character Animation in a Video Game at the 2025 Annie Awards; and Artistic Achievement at the 2025 BAFTA Games Awards.
