The upcoming romance anime Love Unseen Beneath the Clear Night Sky is set to begin airing this July. A new teaser trailer and key visual were released during GA Fes 2026, a 6-hour talk show that showcased updates from publisher GA Bunko.
The anime is an adaptation of a novel of the same name, which won the grand prize at the 15th GA Bunko Awards. It tells the story of Kakeru Sorano, an introverted college student, and Koharu Fuyutsuki, an outgoing blind girl, as they bond over Koharu’s dream to launch fireworks into the sky one day.
Animation for the series will be provided by studio MAKARIA, featuring director Joe Yoshizaki, compositor Yuko Kakihara, character designers Yoshihiro Sawada and Yuzui Ishii, and sound director Satoshi Motoyama. It stars Miyu Irino as the male lead Kakeru Sorano, opposite Saori Hayami as Koharu Fuyutsuki.
