Genshin Impact and Duolingo collaborating was not on my bingo card for this year, but I’m not complaining. In this bizarre yet cool way to end 2025, we have one of the most beloved gacha games teaming up with one of, if not the, most popular language-learning apps to provide treats as well as encourage learning.
The event dropped on 8th December, 2025 and will last till 27th December, 2025. Without further ado, let’s get to how to claim the rewards on either platforms!
How To Get Started
First and most importantly, you need an account on both apps to be eligible to participate. Under Duolingo’s Quest Tab, participants will find the collaboration quest prompt. Accept it to begin, then complete a three-day streak on Duolingo during the event.
The best part is, the event is available for both paid and free users, and also covers other courses available on the app! You can track your progress through the app’s in-built quest-tracker.
How To Claim Rewards
Once you’re done with the quest, click the quest completion button, where you’ll be redirected to the Genshin Gift website and you’ll also receive a redemption code. The process from here is the same as when you redeem other Genshin Impact codes — simply enter your user details and the code.
Alternatively, you can get your redemption code through the Duolingo app under the “Shop” tab. Look for “Genshin Impact Rewards” under Special Offers in the Shop. This will then grant your code and redirect you to the Genshin Impact code redemption site like above. Your rewards will then pop-up in your mail for you to claim.
Players who participate in the collaboration event will receive the following rewards upon completion of the quest during the event:
On Duolingo’s side of the event, participants will receive the Paimon x Duo statue cosmetic as well as Duolingo Gems.
Take Note!
You need to at least be Adventure Rank 2 in Genshin Impact in order to be able to receive the rewards in your Genshin Impact mailbox. I would advise getting here first then starting the quest. Don’t worry, it’s really easy to get to AR 2.
Additionally, though the event will end on 27th December 2025, those who have completed the quest can still activate their code from the Duolingo Shop by 30th December, and redeem said code anytime until 31st January, 2026. Missing either deadline will prevent you from claiming your code or redeeming your rewards respectively.
