Creature-Collector RPG ‘Montabi’ Unleashes Extensive Demo Update

Indonesia-based indie developer Mankibo have announced a significant content update for the demo of their highly anticipated game Montabi. The game combines the addictive fun of a creature-collector with the strategic depth of a roguelike deckbuilder, and its new demo update promises to incorporate valuable player feedback and introduce exciting features.

Players can look forward to seeing the following major improvements:

  • Expanded Creature Power: The nine currently available Montabi creatures have received expanded and reworked decks, ensuring more diverse and tactical deckbuilding.
  • Ultimate Forms Unlocked: Trainers can now evolve their companions further with the introduction of third stage evolutions.
  • Strategic Gear: A brand-new equipment system has been added, giving players more ways to customize and boost their Montabi team.
  • New Threats: Prepare for greater challenges with a new elite enemy and a powerful boss to test your deckbuilding prowess.
  • Starter Boost: New players will benefit from the Trainer Starter Charm, helping them dive into the action more smoothly.
  • Global Reach: The game now offers expanded localization support, including Simplified Chinese, Spanish, and Indonesian, making it accessible to a wider international audience.

The core premise of Montabi revolves around taming wild Montabi creatures and assembling them into a powerful team to build your ultimate card deck. Though no release date has been announced, players can expect to find the full version on PC via Steam, as well as major consoles including Nintendo Switch and Xbox.
