The viral sensation Troublemaker is back, bigger and bolder than ever. Developers Gamecom Team and publishers indie.io have launched Troublemaker 2: Beyond Dream on Steam, taking the series’ signature blend of beat-’em-up action and over-the-top comedy to new levels by dropping players into the sprawling, open world of South Jayakarta.
Building on the success of the first game, which was praised for its authentic portrayal of Indonesian teenage life, Troublemaker 2 expands the series’ scope while staying true to its roots. While the original game centered on high school brawls and teenage drama, the sequel lets players loose in a full city, where street fights, rhythm-driven band battles, and absurd mini-games collide.

Returning protagonists Jordan the street brawler and Budi the disciplined MMA fighter will each bring their own unique fighting styles and a wider arsenal of weapons. Together with the Parakacuk gang and the Beyond Dream band, players must fight their way to fame, friendship, and survival in a city where every alley has a story to tell.
Aside from the sequel, Gamecom Team have also announced that four mobile spin-offs set in the Troublemaker universe are currently in development, each created by a different Indonesian studio. The series’ influence is even expanding beyond gaming, with a live-action film adaptation of Troublemaker currently in development from LYTO Pictures.

“We’ve always believed that the strength of Indonesia’s game industry lies in the spirit of collaboration,” said Nanda, Game Director of the Troublemaker series. “With Troublemaker 2, our goal was to take everything that resonated in the first game and push it further—to create a world that feels bigger, more ambitious, but still unmistakably Indonesian at its heart.”
