Hololive VTuber Hoshimachi Suisei Featured On Forbes Japan’s 30 Under 30

Forbes Japan have released their 7th annual 30 Under 30 list, a celebration of 30 young changemakers, leaders and notable individuals across four different categories: Entertainment & Sports, Art & Style, Business & Finance & Impact & Local, and Science & Social.

This year’s Entertainment & Sports list includes girl group f5ve, hip-hop producer Koshy, and 14-year-old violin prodigy Himari, as well as Hololive VTuber Hoshimachi Suisei. Suisei in particular also received a four-page interview in the October 2025 edition of Forbes Japan, as well as being featured prominently on the magazine’s cover.

Suisei is the second VTuber to ever make Forbes Japan’s 30 Under 30 list, following the virtual singer KAF in 2023. Her achievements include winning a Clio Bronze Award for her music video “BIBBIDIBA”, which has recorded over 140 million views; winning Best Music VTuber at the VTuber Awards 2024, and performing a sold-out show at at the invite-only Nippon Budokan in February 2025.

Forbes Japan’s editor-in-chief Masaharu Fujiyoshi shared his thoughts on this year’s 30 Under 30 list. “I believe that those selected for this year’s 30 Under 30 share some common traits. Even if their titles are simple, most of them approach their work in a multifaceted way. The passion of youth may be just as intense as it was in the past, but their processes and the paths they take are more diverse, and their perspectives are broader.”

“Looking back at the era that these young people—born after 1995, 30 years ago—have lived through, it began with events that forced a shift in values: the Great Hanshin Earthquake, the Tokyo subway sarin attack, the subsequent financial crisis, and the financial Big Bang. I believe this transformation of the times started 30 years ago. Having grown up in such an era, I believe these “Under 30″ individuals will show us the arrival of a new age.”
