The Indie Game Award 2026, one of Asia’s premier indie game competitions, is now open for submissions. The news was announced last week at the Game Linker 2025 developer networking event, which was co-hosted by Taipei Game Show and Asia Pacific Game Summit.
Each year, the Indie Game Award 2026 attracts over 300 entries, with the goal of serving as a premier platform for developers to gain global recognition. Award categories include Best Narrative, Best Audio, Best Visual Art, Best Design, Best Innovation, Best Mobile Game, Best Student Game, and the top honor of Grand Prix.
The Award is now accepting submissions until August 19. Winners will receive a dedicated showcase area and promotional support at Taipei Game Show 2026, with an additional cash prize being offered to the Grand Prix winner.
