Indie studio Toadzillart & publisher Future Friends Games have revealed that Whimside, a wholesome creature collection idle game, will launch August 7th on PC via Steam. The game is a cozy and relaxing creature collection game that sits at the bottom of your screen, keeping you company whether you’re working, studying, or just chilling out.
The game sets itself apart from other desktop pet games by offering a unique creation mechanic, where you can combine two Whimlings to create a whole new creature! Every unique combination reveals a procedurally generated new species, which will help you unlock new biomes and decorations.
As you progress, you’ll unlock a variety of decorations, empowering you to personalize your own whimsical haven, from a peaceful garden to an extravagant outdoor playground. Your favorite Whimlings can also settle in, keeping you company throughout the day.
Outside of your haven, there’s also a whole new world to explore, with new biomes to unlock that are rich with secrets and surprises. Not to mention, rare new species to uncover and collect!
