GSC, TGV Cinemas To Screen ‘Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc’ This October

Anime fans will be spoiled for choice this October as both GSC and TGV Cinemas have confirmed that they will be screening the highly anticipated ‘Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc’. TGV will begin airing the film from 28 October, followed by GSC from 30 October onwards.

Both announcements were accompanied by a new poster for the film, which had just been released hours prior by Sony Pictures during the company’s presentation at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. Sony Pictures will be handling worldwide distribution of the film in all regions except Japan.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will serve as a direct sequel to the events of the Chainsaw Man anime, adapting chapters 40 to 52 of the original manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto. This arc will see protagonist Denji meeting and befriending a mysterious girl named Reze, though true to the dark and tragic nature of the series, all is not as it seems.

This isn’t the first simultaneous anime release to come from TGV and GSC – both cinema chains will also be screening Howl’s Moving Castle this April.
