Anime Festival Asia Indonesia (AFAID) is set to return to the Jakarta Convention Centre from 6 to 8 June, featuring three main entertainment areas: the Akiba Town exhibition hall, a Day Stage featuring live talk shows and special screenings, and Night Concerts showcasing top J-pop and anisong artistes direct from Japan.

Night Concerts


On Saturday, AFA will play host to the I Love Anisong Music Festival, featuring top Japanese artistes such Daoko, DEMONDICE, Eir Aoi, KAF, Liyuu, TeddyLoid, and towana from fhána, while on Sunday, The Music of Studio Ghibli: Original Singers Symphony will treat visitors to performances from original Studio Ghibli cast members.
Anime Panels & Meet-and-Greets

Fans can catch exclusive panels featuring popular anime titles such as Dan Da Dan and Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid, which are set to reveal new information about their upcoming new season and movie respectively. They’ll also be able to learn more about upcoming anime series like Tougen Anki and Kamitsubaki Studio.
Renowned Japanese voice actors Shion Wakayama (Momo from Dan Da Dan), Kazuki Ura (Isagi from Blue Lock), and Yuuki Kawahara (Tohru from Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid) will also be holding meet-and-greets at the event, giving fans the rare opportunity to meet them in person.
Cosplay Guests

Cosplay fans will have the opportunity to meet some of their favourite cosplayers at the event, with huge names such as Baobao, Thames Malerose, Weian Vann, and YingTze making an appearance.

Other prominent cosplay creators are set to make an appearance at the event’s Cosplay Hub, with Angie0_0, Clow Cosplay, Nekonoi Katsu and Yukitora Keiji being announced so far.
Akiba Town
Akiba Town, AFAID’s exhibition space, is set to feature dedicated booths showcasing the latest merchandise, collectibles, and interactive displays from a wide variety of Japanese brands. These include:

- MIKU EXPO 10th Anniversary: Celebrate the 10th anniversary of MIKU EXPO with exclusive merchandise and activities
- Crunchyroll: Fire Force Season 3, a Crunchyroll exclusive, will be featured prominently at AFAID
- MANGAPlus by SHUEISHA: The MANGAPlus booth will feature popular series such as One Piece, Sakamoto Days, and more, with booth promotions and special activities
- Bocchi The Rock! Pop Up Store: A special Bocchi the Rock! Pop-Up Shop is coming to AFAID, featuring limited-edition merch items
- Akiba Stage: An AFA mainstay, the Akiba Stage will celebrate the 10th year of its inception by featuring top regional and Japanese artists
- Community Hub: Visitors can enjoy fun group activities such as DJ sets, cosplayer hangouts, VTuber appearances, and even a brand new AFA’s Got Talent stage
- AFA Lounge: Another new zone at AFAID, fans will be able to relive their Moe Moe Kyun maid cafe memories, enjoy unique photo opportunities, and more
- Game On: A dedicated gaming exhibitor zone where visitors will be able to try out the latest games, with popular exhibitors such as Bandai Namco and the Cookie Run Braverse TCG
Creators Hub

Last but certainly not least, the AFAID Creators’ Hub will feature hundreds of talented artists from across the region, each showcasing their original artwork, merchandise, and fan creations.
This year’s edition will feature a partnership between the AFA Creators Hub and Japan’s Niconico Chikiagi, named the Asia Creators Cross (ACC). Both AFA and Niconico Chokiagi will feature an ACC zone, showcasing independent artists from both regions.
