The popular anime series Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End will soon be collaborating with Player’s Unknown Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile. The news was first announced via the official Frieren X/Twitter account, which published a poster of the collaboration on March 29.
Little is currently known about the collaboration so far, but based on previous PUBG mobile collaboration events, fans can likely expect to see Frieren-themed skins, items, and even game modes coming to the popular battle royale. It is also currently unknown if the collaboration will be available on all PUBG Mobile servers, or if the event will be Japan-exclusive.
While it might seem like an unexpected collaboration, given that Frieren is mostly a slow-paced fantasy series, it’s far from PUBG Mobile’s first crossover with an anime series. The game has previously featured collaborations with Neon Genesis Evangelion and Spy x Family.
