Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club The Movie Premieres In Malaysia On January 2nd

Golden Screen Cinemas will be exclusively screening the latest movie in the Love Live franchise, Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club The Movie – Finale Chapter 1 starting January 2nd, 2025.

Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club is a spin-off from the Love Live franchise, first introduced in 2017 as “Perfect Dream Project” and was initially created as part of the game Love Live! School Idol Festival All Stars. It was then adapted into an anime television series by Sunrise in October 2020.

The movie follows the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club who receives an invitation to the prestigious School Idol Grand Prix (GPX), a solo competition where idols perform on a streaming app to determine the most popular school idol. Eager to compete, six club members – Ayumu, Kasumi, Shizuku, Kanata, Emma, and Lanzhu – head to the Okinawan venue, where they’re greeted by the island’s stunning natural beauty.

Amidst the vibrant atmosphere, the girls join other talented idols from across Japan, each giving it their all. However, Ayumu struggles with the idea of directly competing against her close friends to climb the ranks. What challenges and triumphs await these determined young idols as they pursue their dreams on the grand stage?
