CAPCOM announced the launch date for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess during Summer Game Fest this year. The unique Japanese-inspired single-player Kagura action strategy game launches this July 19th, 2024 on Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Steam.
Set in a mountainside overtaken by defilement, the game follows a day and night cycle where during the day, players control Soh to explore the village to purge the defilement from the villagers and position them in preparation for the battle at night.
During the night, player will protect the Maiden by giving commands to the villagers and use dance-like sword techniques to protect the Maiden from the demons known as the Seethe. Immerse yourself in a unique world view of “和” (“wa”) (harmony in Japanese) and embrace the freedom offered by your choices in both action and strategy gameplay.
How To Pre-Order
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess will be released on July 19th, 2024 in digital format only. Those who pre-order will receive the protagonist Soh’s equipment, the Mazo Talismans “Walking Basket” and “Astral Projection,” as well as a digital Mini Artbook which includes concept art from the game.
Players can pre-order the game on Steam and PlayStation Store right now. For those subscribed to Xbox Game Pass, you can play it from release date. It also supports Xbox Play Anywhere, allowing cross-play and save data transfer between Xbox and Windows 10/11.
