If you haven’t heard, the viral indie hit Among Us is getting an animated series — and its voice cast is stacked! The series is currently in production at CBS Studios, and Owen Dennis (Infinity Train) will be serving as the creator and executive producer on the project.
Although the animated series doesn’t have a premiere date yet, the show will follow the same premise as the video game, where members of your crew have been replaced by an alien shapeshifter and your goal is to find the imposter — before you fall victim to it.
As for who will be voicing our beloved Crew Mates, here’s a breakdown of the confirmed voice cast and where you might have seen them before!
Dan Stevens as Blue Crew Mate
Dan Stevens is most known for playing Matthew Crawley in Downton Abbey, but you may also know him for playing The Beast in the Emma Watson live-action Beauty and the Beast. He also recently voiced Parakeet in The Boy and the Heron and Scarlemagne in Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts.
Liv Hewson as Black Crew Mate
You might be familiar with Liv Hewson as Teen Van in Yellowjackets, or maybe you saw her first as Dorrie in the John Green book-turned-movie Let It Snow. In terms of voice work, she recently played Bug Eye in Scarygirl, an animated movie based on the eponymous adventure-platform game released in 2012.
Randall Park as Red Crew Mate
Randall Park is best known for playing Louis Huang in Fresh Off The Boat, although perhaps our geekier readers know him as Jimmy Woo in the Marvel Cinematic Universe — or Asian Jim in The Office. The actor has also lent his voice to Heiji Shindo in Blue Eye Samurai and Pete Doheny in Big Mouth.
Yvette Nicole Brown as Orange Crew Mate
Most known for her role as Shirley Bennett in Community, Yvette Nicole Brown has a truckload of voice acting credentials to her name. She most recently played Mayor Gilmore in Pupstruction, the Narrator in Shape Island, KRS in My Dad The Bounty Hunter, and Faye Fireson in Firebuds.
Kimiko Glenn as Cyan Crew Mate
Kimiko Glenn is best known as Brook Soso in Orange Is The New Black and Peni Parker in Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. You may also know her as Niffty in Hazbin Hotel, Kiff Chatterley in Kiff, and Margot in Summer Camp Island. For my fellow musical fans, did you know she also originated the role of Dawn in Waitress: The Musical?
Ashley Johnson as Purple Crew Mate
There isn’t a single gamer in the world who doesn’t know Ashley Johnson. Most known for her role as Ellie in The Last of Us video games, she also voiced Lake in Infinity Train, Gwen Tennyson in Ben 10: Omniverse, and Terra in Teen Titans Go; on top of being a cast member of the Dungeons & Dragons show Critical Role.
Elijah Wood as Green Crew Mate
Besides playing Frodo in Lord of the Rings, Elijah Wood has lent his voice to several animated series including Wirt in Over The Garden Wall, Saxophone in Summer Camp Island, and Jace Rucklin in Star Wars: Resistance. He also recently played Walter in Yellowjackets.
Phil LaMarr as Brown Crew Mate
A legend in the voice acting industry, Phil LaMarr voiced Hermes Conrad in Futurama and literally Samurai Jack in Samurai Jack. You may also recognise him as Marvin in Pulp Fiction, Wolfgang in Craig of the Creek, and Lucius Fox in the Harley Quinn animated series.
Debra Wilson as Yellow Crew Mate
You might not know Debra Wilson, but she might sound familiar to you. She voiced Cere Junda in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Amanda Waller in Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League and Batman: The Enemy Within, and Selma Greene in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.
Wayne Knight as Lime Crew Mate
For the readers who are old enough, Wayne Knight is best known for playing Newman in the iconic sitcom Seinfeld. For everyone else, you might know Knight from his roles as Dojo Kanojo Cho in Xiaolin Showdown and The Penguin in the Harley Quinn animated series.
Patton Oswalt as White Crew Mate
We most recently saw Patton Oswalt in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, but the actor is probably best known for voicing Remy in Ratatouille, the Narrator in The Goldbergs, and M.O.D.O.K. in M.O.D.O.K., and Nom Nom in We Bare Bears.
