The Philippine Esports Awards Honours Esports Pioneers In The Country

The Philippine Esports Awards returns to honour the brightest and most promising athletes and personalities in Philippine esports this April 11th, 2024. Organised by Esports Prime Media, the awards ceremony is happening at the GT-Toyota Asian Center Auditorium in the University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City.

As the gaming industry continues to evolve, the Philippine Esports Awards aims to become the beacon of recognition, not just as a ceremony, but a celebration of the achievements and dedication of the players, teams, organizers and personalities, may it be a newcomer or a pioneer in the esports scene.

“There have been many significant advances in the nation’s esports efforts this year, with AP Bren winning the M5 World Championships and the Philippines hosting the MLBB World Championships, among other notable achievements,” said Raymund Liboro, Executive Director of the Philippine Esports Awards.

“We are introducing new awards, including lifetime awards, esports company of the year, stage host of the year, desk host of the year, and manager of the year, to honor more key esports trailblazers in our country. This year and in the future, we will incorporate more esports expert discussions into the awards selection process.”

Raymund also added, “We hope that the Philippine esports scene continues to flourish and that we can provide proper recognition to those who have contributed to our nation’s esports industry.”
