Anime Fest+ Returns with Exciting Performances, VTubers, Games & More

Attention, all anime fans! Anime Fest+ 2024 is just around the corner, and it promises to be an unforgettable celebration of all things anime, cosplay and gaming. Organised by Comic Fiesta, the event is scheduled to take place from the 26th to the 28th of April at Tropicana Gardens Mall.

Headlining the event is sana of the J-pop band sajou no hana. A renowned vocalist who’s lent her voice to songs from various anime series such as Mob Psycho 100, Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, she’ll be making her first international appearance at Anime Fest+ 2024.

Joining her on stage is djalto, an Indonesian singer-songwriter who’s known for her Japanese and Indonesian covers of popular anime songs. Plus, she’ll even be giving away some freebies during her segment, so you definitely don’t want to miss out on her performance!

VTuber fans are also in for a treat as Anime Fest+ will feature special appearances from GeeXPlus talent OniGiri and Hololive Production VTubers Gavis Bettel, Machina x Flayon, Airani Iofiteen and Koseki Bijou. As a bonus, OniGiri will also be conducting meet-and-greets at the Coffytiam booth throughout the weekend.

Aside from international guests, Anime Fest+ will also feature a notable lineup of home-grown talents such as comic artist Puddlearts, performance groups Project Coser and Trouble 茶煲, and singers Bin Yun, Ryuuku-K, Ellemonade and Ristelle. Fans will definitely be kept entertained throughout all three days of the event!

Rounding out the stage festivities are the Pose-off Cosplay Competition and the One-True-Pair Cosplay Competition, a solo and duo cosplay contest respectively. Contestants will be competing in front of a star-studded guest lineup featuring judges Yjj Jean, Mak Cos, Thames Malerose and Rikka Blurhound.

The fun doesn’t stop there as Playstation will also be giving fans an exclusive sneak peek at Sony’s latest sci-fi title, Stellar Blade. Fans will be able to try out the game, meet guest cosplayer Le Josette as the game’s protagonist Eve, and collect exclusive merchandise at Stellar Blade’s Anime Fest+ booth.
