That’s right, the Avatar: The Last Airbender comics are officially on WEBTOON and free for everyone to read. Originally published by Dark Horse, the comics are an official continuation of the original Nickelodeon animated series.
Its story follows the conclusion of the Hundred Year War, as Avatar Aang and his friends work to heal the Four Elemental Nations and usher in a new age of progress. It also takes place between the events of Avatar: The Last Airbender and Avatar: The Legend of Korra.
The first three episodes are already out, following the newly crowned Fire Lord Zuko as he grapples with freeing the Earth nations from Fire Nation colonisation — except things aren’t as simple as it seems.
