The 2024 Independent Games Festival Awards (IGF) happened earlier today, recognising innovative and independently created video games from the past year. Taking place annually at the Game Developers Conference (GDC), the IGF awards winners in eight categories from game design to audio.
This year, Malaysian game developer 7th Beat Studios won the award for Excellence In Audio for their game ‘Rhythm Doctor’. This makes history as the first time a Malaysian studio has won an award at the IGF Awards.
