To celebrate the launch of Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, the game is having a free weekend on Steam from now until February 26th, 7PM (CET) — or February 27th, 2AM in Malaysian time! The game is also 50% off across all platforms until March 8th.
The Reloaded Edition comes with a free story DLC called Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Bloody Ties. It also comes with several base game updates including the addition of firearms, visual and gameplay improvements, new Survivor Missions and Elite Missions, and the return of fan favourite characters Tolga and Fatin!
The biggest highlight is the Firearms Update, which adds four new guns to the game: pistols, SMGs, rifles, and shotguns. As a launch bonus, players can claim their free Harran Pistol from their stash at any safe zone before March 7th. The Retrowave Redux Skin Bundle will also be available via in-game store for free until Match 7th.
Players who start playing during the free weekend will get to keep all their progress after it ends. Meanwhile, players who already own the Standard Edition will receive a free upgrade to Reloaded Edition, including the Bloody Ties DLC.
Here’s how to unlock the Bloody Ties DLC if you already own the game:
- For Steam — You will automatically receive the DLC in your Account.
- For Playstation 4 & 5 — The DLC will be listed as free when you purchase the Reloaded Edition or already own the Standard Edition. Please go into the PSN store and add the DLC to your cart to check out and add it to your account.
- For Xbox — The DLC will be listed as free when you purchase the Reloaded Edition or already own the Standard Edition. Please go into the Xbox store and add the DLC to your cart to check out and add it to your account.
