In conjunction with the 20th anniversary of Lawak Kampus, the new animated series LK School Daze revitalizes the quirky adventures of three socially dysfunctional best friends — Vanness, Aditas, and Froggy — alongside their schoolmates in a fresh new format as they do their worst to learn the essential life skills they need in and around school.
LK School Daze’s origins began with shorts debuting on TikTok in May 2023 that were well-received upon its debut, garnering more than 37.67 million video views, 1.69 million likes and 124,000 followers. Since its overwhelming success on TikTok, LK School Daze is now a fully voice acted 2-minute animated series that had its global debut on September 1st 2023.
The first webisode, titled “Growing Pains”, sees the students Vanness, Aditas, Froggy, Zero, Anthony, Bepop, Xena, Sharkhead and Mickey looking horrified as Yumi and Ami tell a scary tale about puberty in one of their schooling adventures.
The series will span a total of 52 Youtube-exclusive webisodes on the Official LKSchoolDaze YouTube Channel with a planned weekly release schedule. Now with Episode 2 titled “Sports Day” released on Youtube, it is the perfect time to rediscover the humour of Lawak Kampus regardless if you’re a returning or new fan, as these webisodes are sure to get a good chuckle out of any viewer just like the classic comics back in the day.
