Dango Pte Ltd is pleased to announce the release of Cardfight Vanguard Bahasa, which will go on sale on the 23rd of September 2022 in Brunei, Indonesia and Malaysia. The announcement makes Cardfight Vanguard one of the few card games in the market with a foreign language release of the same title.
Cardfight Vanguard is a strategy card game where two players each take control of their own Vanguard, while facing off against an opponent’s Vanguard. The first to achieve 6 damage will lose the game. Since 2011, Cardfight Vanguard has gone through many changes and has enjoyed considerable success as a card game, as it is an easy game to pick up and play with friends. It has also been adapted into a popular anime series of the same name.
The sale will start with 5 starter decks that consist of 5 core nations: Dragon Empire, Dark States, Keter Sanctuary, Stoicheia and Brandt Gate, matching the version of Cardfight Vanguard that is currently in play. These 5 starter decks will each contain 50 cards, with their own specialised strengths and abilities. Upgrades to the decks will be made available with the launch of “Booster Set 01: Kemunculan 5 Negara Terhebat” on the 7th of October 2022.
Not only will the starter decks and booster set be on sale, but Dango Pte Ltd will also be making organised play a priority, with events scheduled for Brunei, Indonesia and Malaysia. Players will be able to compete in tournaments for a chance to win exciting prizes, with the first of these large organised play events being the Nasional Vanguard in Malaysia and Indonesia. Players from all over the world are welcome to join the Nasional Vanguard at the end of the year, with great prizes awaiting the winners.
Cardfight Vanguard starter decks will be priced at RM20 per deck, while the booster packs will be priced at RM8 each in Malaysia. With the release of Cardfight Vanguard Bahasa, Dango Pte Ltd hopes to continue supporting the market for Bahasa card games by bringing them to the masses.
