Ran out of TV shows and movies to binge-watch? Fear not, as you’ll now have plenty to add to your viewing list in 2021 and beyond. On December 11, Disney surprised its millions of fans at its 2020 Investor Day webinar with a slew of updates for its Disney+ streaming service, as well as new announcements from Lucasfilm, Marvel, and Pixar.

Star Wars
- Rangers of the Republic and Ahsoka: Spinoff series from The Mandalorian
- Andor: Prequel series to Rogue One, starring Diego Luna as Cassian Andor
- Obi-Wan Kenobi: Original series set ten years after the Prequel Trilogy, starring Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader and Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi
- Lando: Original series centered around Lando Calrissian, developed by Justin Simien
- The Acolyte: Original series directed by Leslye Headland
- Star Wars: The Bad Batch: Animated series from Lucasfilm Animations
- A Droid Story: Animated series from Lucasfilm Animations and Industrial Light and Magic, featuring C-3PO and R2-D2
- Star Wars: Visions: A series of animated short films directed by renowned anime creators
- Taika Waititi is set to direct a currently untitled Star Wars feature film
Walt Disney Studios
- Chip’n Dale Rescue Rangers: Live-action remake starring John Mulaney and Andy Samberg as Chip and Dale
- Pinocchio: Live-action remake directed by Robert Zemeckis, starring Tom Hanks
- Peter Pan & Wendy: Live-action remake starring Yara Shahidi as Tinkerbell and Jude Law as Captain Hook
- Disenchanted: Sequel to Enchanted, starring Amy Adams as Giselle
- Sister Act 3: New instalment in the Sister Act series, starring Whoopi Goldberg
- Jungle Cruise: Film based on the Disneyland ride of the same name, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Emily Blunt
- Flora and Ulysses: A film adaptation of the book by Kate DiCamillo, about a young girl and her superpowered pet squirrel
- Hocus Pocus 2: Sequel to the 1997 film Hocus Pocus, directed by Adam M. Shankman
Walt Disney Animation
- Night at the Museum: Animated series based on the film series of the same name, directed by Shawn Levy
- The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild: Spinoff film based on the Ice Age franchise, starring Simon Pegg
- Encanto: An original animated film set in Colombia, with music by Lin Manuel-Miranda
- Iwaju: An animated series created in collaboration with African entertainment company Kugali
- Baymax!, Zootopia+, Tiana, and Moana: The Series: Four new animated series based on previous Disney films
- An untitled Diary of a Wimpy Kid animated film is in production
Pixar
- Inside Pixar: Documentary series about the animation studio, with the first five episodes now available on Disney+
- Pixar Popcorn: Animated short film series featuring various Pixar characters
- Dug Days: Spinoff series based on Up, featuring the character Dug
- Win or Lose: Original animated series about softball
- Turning Red: Original animated film directed by Domee Shi, about a girl who can turn into a red panda
- Lightyear: Animated film starring Chris Evans as Buzz Lightyear
- An untitled Cars spinoff series featuring Lightning McQueen and Mater was announced
Marvel TV Series
- Ms Marvel: Starring Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms Marvel
- Hawkeye: Starring Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye and Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop
- She-Hulk: Starring Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk, with Mark Ruffalo reprising the role of the Hulk

- Captain Marvel 2: Sequel to Captain Marvel, directed by Nia DaCosta and featuring Iman Vellani as Ms Marvel
- Eternals: Directed by Chloe Zhao, starring Salma Hayek, Kit Harrington and Angelina Jolie
- The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special: Disney+ special written and directed by James Gunn
- Blade: Starring Mahershala Ali in the title role
- Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania: Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly are set to reprise their title roles alongside Kathryn Newton’s Cassie Lang
- Black Panther 2: Written and directed by Ryan Coogler, the film will center around the various side characters introduced in the original movie
- Fantastic Four: Directed by Jon Watts
