Even though the Lunar New Year event is still going strong, we can’t deny that love is in the air. Especially now that the Overwatch developers have released a new assault-style map (a.k.a. 2 CP map) named ‘Paris’ on the Public Test Region.
The map is our first glimpse at the sprawling narrow streets of Paris, and features landmarks that are certain to become reference points in later lore. These locations include the Pâtisserie Galand, Maison Marat, and most interestingly, the Cabaret Luna.
Featured prominently in the ‘Paris’ promotional material, Luna is presumably the blonde-haired star act at the Cabaret Luna. However, she seems to have another, more omnic-looking form that has players wondering whether she could be the next hero on the way.
While only time will tell for Luna, it is a safer bet that the new map will be available on the live game before Valentine’s Day, as Blizzard typically tests their maps on the PTR a few weeks prior to the live date.
The ‘Paris’ map is now available to play on the Overwatch PTR.
