There’s an urban legend going around that there’s a hidden hour of the day called the Anomalous Hour. People trapped inside it will find themselves surrounded by bizarre, otherworldly anomalies. As you’re making your way home one day, you find yourself trapped in the Anomalous Hour with no escape in sight.
Developed by Indonesia-based Gambir Studio, The Anomalous Hour is a short horror game that takes place in a train station filled with strange anomalies. Your goal is to take pictures of the bizarre oddities lurking around every corner and you might just find your way out. That is, if you don’t succumb to the madness first.
The Anomalous Hour is the latest in the trend of spot-the-difference horror games, with I’m on Observation Duty, Shinkansen 0, and The Exit 8 being some of the more notable entries into this unique genre. The game definitely holds its own with more than thirty different anomalies and multiple endings — although be warned, not all endings are good.
The game is currently 10% off on Steam from now until May 6th. For more games from Gambir Studio, follow the developers on Twitter.
