Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen revealed last week that the manga will be reaching its conclusion on September 30th, 2024. Originally published in March 2018, its story follows high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers to eliminate a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, of whom Yuji becomes the host.
By January 2024, the manga had over 90 million copies in circulation including related novels, digital versions, and Jujutsu Kaisen 0, making it one of the best-selling manga series and social phenomenons of all time. The manga has also been adapted into an anime television series produced by MAPPA. There are currently two seasons available.
Starting from now, there are only four chapters left until the manga reaches its conclusion. Mark your calendars, because here’s the release date for each chapter:
- September 1st, 2024: Chapter 268
- September 8th, 2024: No new chapter, Gege Akutami on break
- September 15th, 2024: Chapter 269
- September 22nd, 2024: Chapter 270
- September 29th, 2024: Chapter 271, Final Chapter
