The 91st Oscar nominees are out, and this year pays tribute to more pop culture phenomenons than ever. ‘Black Panther’, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, and ‘A Star Is Born’ lead a strong charge in the Best Picture nominees, while ‘Into The Spider-Verse’ also takes its rightful spot in the Best Animated Feature category following its triumphant win at the Golden Globes.
However, will their trump the strongest players in the game? Both ‘The Favourite’ and foreign language film ‘Roma’ have the highest odds with 10 nominations each. All in all, it definitely looks like this year’s Oscars is shaping up to be an interesting one. The live broadcast will air on 25 February 2019.
