Wakamiya Shinobu from Chihayafuru! The karuta Queen is hands-down one of my favorite characters ever; I love the combination of her social awkwardness, her proud demeanour, her eccentric love for Snowmaru merchandise. In fact, I love this series so much mostly because of the characters, they’re just so complex, interesting and relatable. I’ve just watched both the live action movies this past week, and I’m so happy that a 3rd one has been announced for next year! Now, if only we’d have a 3rd season of the anime – that would really make my day!
